WARRANTY POLICY

Warranty Information for Furniture

In case of a defect covered by this warranty, Frida & Blu will at its discretion and without cost to the owner:

 

  • Inspect and repair or replace the furniture (including, if necessary, removing defective furniture and redelivering repaired or new furniture) or refund its purchase value.

  • If furniture is replaced under this warranty, the replacement furniture will be subject to the warranty terms and warranty commencement date of the original furniture.

 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired. Frida & Blu indoor-outdoor furniture comes with the following limited warranty against manufacturing defects for residential applications:

 

  • 2 year from the date of purchase, limited warranty on frames

  • 2 year from the date of purchase, limited warranty on weave, synthetic cords, fabrics, cushions, foams

 

Warranty for furniture used in commercial applications:

 

  • 1 year from the date of purchase, limited warranty on frames

  • 1 year from the date of purchase, limited warranty on weave, synthetic cords, fabrics, cushions, foams

  • Repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

To the extent permitted by law, all other warranties not set out in this warranty policy are excluded and Frida & Blu will not be liable for any loss, damage or expense of the customer or any other person in connection with any Frida & Blu products.

 

This warranty does not cover:

 

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Staining and/or fading from acidity or salt in the atmosphere

  • Normal colour softening and/or fading in synthetic fibres, fabrics, cushions and/or woven cords due to extreme weather conditions 

  • Defects and damages due to furniture not being cared for or maintained in accordance with the care instructions supplied.  

  • Any other defect which has arisen (either wholly or substantially) from something other than faulty manufacture

  • This warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies granted by the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable law.
