Handwoven by women artisans in a remote community in Ollantaytambo. Made of alpaca wool, dyed using plants and insects collected from the Sacred Valley, hand-spun and woven on a backstrap loom by two women weavers. Taking an average of 15 days to create each throw.
Inspired by Mocochucos, the Peruvian Andes cowboys who live and breath the highlands, deserts, and the rivers in between. Three designs: Oasis Azul, Silver Desert, and The Andes.
Natural dyes: blu and grey (Tara pods), white and brown (no dyes), dark brown (Nogal leaves).
